For those of you who wanted ICS on your rooted Samsung Epic 4G, we’ve got some great news for you. Not only is ICS ROM available to you now but it works very well with everything working including camera, camcorder, and even 4G WiMax.
This ICS ROM is a CyanogenMod 9 ROM, which is probably going be much better than any official ICS updates by Samsung. Which by the way, Samsung is NOT going to be doing.
With overclocking on custom kernels, this ICS ROM should get even faster and smoother.

Hey guys! I put this rom on my epic and absolutely love it! however the main issue I have ran into is that i know longer have a voice mail! AHHHHH!!!!! please help a brother out!
Don’t worry about the shitty visual voicemail, go get youmail from the market, its free or in pro (which you dont need), it will setup a call forward from your phone to their service via conditional call forwarding, you’ll be fine, in fact better off.
Hey guys! Thanks for the advice…I try the youmail…but wasn’t real impressed…I did a search for the original voicemail and it seems to be working! Here is my next question…Iread ur article concerning over clocking and would like to experiment with this as well…you recommend the syndicate rom though…what should I use if I continue running the ics? Forgive me for sounding like a bonehead…but I am new to doing all these changes to my droid…but seems I am doing alright by following your instructions! Thanks so much and keep up the good work!
Fyi- if anyone that does the upgrade to ics and attempts to add the google apps…I had trouble using the rom manager to unzip…u may need to do the manual cwm by holding the vol down, cam and power…after doing so everything worked fine!
