Here’s how to restore/backup ROMs using Clockwork Recovery on your Samsung Epic 4G:
Basically, all you need to do is get into Clockwork Recovery and backup/restore your ROMs.
To get into the Clockwork Recovery, you will need a rooted Epic 4G then power off your phone. While holding down the Volume down and Camera button, press the Power button.

i have been trying to backup my current rom, but i cant my phone to go into boot loader mode, i have been pressing the vol down and camera, then hit the power button but nothing happens and it just turns back on. what do i do?
I ran the one click root, which worked perfectly. Epic 4G rebooted and all working fine. Next I shut it off then held the volume down and camera buttons and then the power button.
Now the phone is stuck at the SAMSUNG splash screen, won’t finish booting!
Potential for a silly question here, but if my back up is huge, and I want to delete it to free some sd card storage. where would I find that?
another silly question. I noticed that my droid used a date/time stamp to name the rob backup.. 2004?
