How to Get Free Wifi Tether on Your Samsung Epic 4G!

For those of you who want to enjoy free 3G/4G wifi tethering on your new Samsung Epic 4G Android smartphone, simply root your Epic 4G, then follow the directions on the video above.

Basically, all you have to do is to download the free Android Wifi tether app, install it, and start using it!

Is it illegal?

No, Library of Congress has recently passed a bill that says it’s perfectly legal for users to modify the Android operating system to use it however they want to, meaning it’s perfectly fine to get free wifi tether on your Epic 4G without having to pay Sprint.

Of course, Sprint can always block you so don’t abuse it but use it lightly, just use your common sense, I wouldn’t download 5 gigs of Bittorrent stuff like everyday.

For those of you who are going to use your tethering often or needed to connect your PS3, you can try just getting Sprint’s regular hotspot app for like $20/extra a month, not a bad choice either.
